(BOWIE, Md.) Bowie State University put together a late second half rally, erasing an 18-point deficit before falling 73-69 down the stretch to West Virginia State University. Bowie State was led by junior Duke Crews (Hampton, VA, Bethel, Univ. of Tennessee) with a season-high 19 points and junior Charles Richardson (Suitland, MD, Suitland, Montgomery - Takoma Park C.C.) added 13 points. Junior Armond Hill (Silver Spring, MD, Springbrook, Montgomery - Rockville C.C.) tied for game-high rebound honors, pulling down eight for the Bulldogs and senior Curtis Massey (Upper Marlboro, MD, Largo, Dodge City CC) along with fellow junior Corey Camphor (Upper Marlboro, MD, DeMatha) were responsible seven rebounds each.

MEN'S OVERALL RESULTS
(COLLEGEVILLE, PA.) Competing in their first indoor meet of the season, the Bowie State men's track and field team came away with the top prize, winning the Ursinus College Winter Invitational. BSU's Bulldogs scored 79 points to claim first, followed by Johns Hopkins in second (76.50 points), Cheyney was third (76 points), Lincoln University of Pennsylvania placed fourth (52 points) and host Ursinus came in fifth overall with a score of 45.50 points.
