(NEWPORT NEWS, VA)  Freshman Dion Rodriguez captured first place in the 200 Meter Dash (21.61) and had a second place finish in the 100 Meter Dash (10.66) to lead the Bowie State men's track and field team at the New Captain's Classic hosted by Christopher Newport University.

Other top finishers for Bowie State's Bulldogs include Aaron Johnson and Sean Johnson.  Both Aaron and Sean came away with a second place finish in the High Jump (2.00m) and Triple Jump (14.29m) respectively.  The Bowie State 4x100 Meter Relay "A" Team placed third overall with a time of 43.31 and Byron Lewis came in ninth in the 400 Meter with a time of 50.19.
