(NEWPORT NEWS, VA)  Senior DaMara Parrish led the Bowie State Lady Bulldogs in the New Captain's Classic hosted by Christopher Newport University.  Parrish won the 100 Meter Dash, clocking in at 12.24

Lakesha Carney returned to the Bowie State campus with a second place finish in the Discuss Throw (41.83m) and Sarah Clay came in third in the 400 Meter, crossing the finish line with a time of 58.97.  Elaine Rhoades went 11.25m in the Triple Jump to place fourth and Robyn Chapman also placed fourth in the 200 Meter Dash with a time of 26.14.
