(BOWIE, Md.)  Bowie State University held its 2009 Winter Commencement - Friday, December 18th in BSU's A.C. Jordan Arena and eleven student-athletes were among those awarded degrees.  "The University's main goal is to educate our student-athetes and prepare them for life, and we congratulate these student-athletes on their accomplishments and wish them much success", said Interim Athletic Director Arlene Creek.
