(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) The NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Committee has released its first regional ranking of the season, and Bowie State University is ranked fifth in the Atlantic Region through games of Sunday, January 24th. CIAA members Virginia State, Shaw University and Johnson C. Smith University are also ranked in the Top 10. Virginia State is 3rd, Shaw is 8th and Johnson C. Smith is 10th.
