BOWIE, Md. – Bowie State football team remained in the top-10 but tumbled six spots to No. 10 in the BOXTOROW HBCU Media Poll, which was released Monday afternoon.
After a fourth place ranking last week, Bowie State fell 17-14 to Shaw on Saturday. The loss snapped a conference winning-streak for the Bulldogs (18 gamess) and marked the first time since 2016 BSU has lost back-to-back games.
Bowie State is 1-2 overall and 0-1 in the CIAA. The Bulldogs will return to action on Saturday, Sept. 24 with a road tilt to Raleigh, N.C. to face St. Augustine's (0-3, 0-1 CIAA) at 1 p.m. from the George Williams Athletic Complex.
