A.C. Jordan Arena

A.C. Jordan Arena serves as the home of the Bulldog women’s volleyball as well as men’s and women’s basketball and is one of the finest on-campus facilities in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA). The arena, which opened in 1973, continues to be a gem on the scenic Bowie State campus, but on basketball and volleyball nights, an avid of Bowie State following transforms the elegant edifice into a raucous and intimidating home court advantage. The facility features a triple-court arena, state-of-the-art fitness facility, eight racquetball/handball courts, and an eight-lane, 25-yard swimming pool.

A.C. Jordan Arena offers fans excellent sight lines and has a basketball capacity of 2,200, yet retains an intimate home court atmosphere. The facility has attracted basketball fans from the entire Washington metropolitan area since it opened. A.C. Jordan Arena has hosted CIAA Women’s Volleyball Championships.
