LADY BULLDOGS PLACE THIRD AT CIAA BOWLING ROUND-UP

(FAYETTEVILLE, NC) Bowie State University Head Bowling Coach Ken Scott did a little experimenting during last weekends CIAA Round-Up hosted by Fayetteville State University. Even with the changes, the Lady Bulldogs managed to finish third overall with 8,441 Scratch Pins. Fayetteville State took first place with 9,603 Scratch Pins followed by St. Paul's (9,002) in second, Bowie State, Elizabeth City State (8,222) in fourth and Virginia State (7,552) rounded out the top five finishers.

Bowie State freshman Tycora Brown rolled a team best 265 scratch game, just behind Jessica New of St. Paul's who rolled a 267 scratch game.  Freshman Cadeejha Black  led BSU's Lady Bulldogs with 1,543 Total Pins followed by Brown (1,485), senior Janine Canlas (1,361), freshman Rebecca Frusciante (1,254) and sophomore Victoria Hosgood with 1,116.

Bowie State University will return to the lanes Friday, November 2nd for a weekend event hosted by Elizabeth City (NC) State University.
