(LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA)  Bowie State University played a non-conference match against Lincoln (PA) University and beat the Lady Tigers 3 -1.  The win improves the BSU Lady Bulldogs record to 11-13 on the year but drops Lincoln (PA) to 6-24 overall.

The dynamic duo of Bethany Sloat and Tamira Conner Rogers were Bowie State's main offensive threats as they combined for 29 of BSU's 57 totals kills.  Sloat tallied 17 kills while Conner Rogers added another 12 kills.  Conner Rogers also paced the Lady Bulldogs with seven service aces and Jasmine McNair scored six aces of her own to go along with a team-high 11 digs.

Lincoln (PA) was led by Donneisha Smith with 11 kills and five service aces on the night.  Lindsey Wilson accounted for a game-high 15 digs for the Lady Tigers and Jordean Matthews contributed another 11 digs.

Lincoln (PA) will close out the regular season - Friday (11/2) at home against Cheyney at 7 p.m.  Bowie State will wrap their regular season with a home finale - Thursday (11/1) against the University of the District of Columbia.  The Lady Bulldogs and Lady Firebirds match will get underway at 6 p.m. in BSU's A.C. Jordan Arena.
