FINAL STATS
(BOWIE, MD) If wins had to be pretty in order to count, Bowie State University might have lost. Instead, the Bulldogs shook off a horrible first half and used a second half burst to romp Livingstone College 77-57.

Bowie State (11-5 / 6-3 in the CIAA) woke up from their first half slump very early in the second half to regain the lead (36-35) for good at the 17:20 mark on a lay-up by senior Joshua Johnson (Annapolis, MD). The Bowie State lead slowly increased to a double digit advantage (53-43) by the 8:15 mark on another lay-up by Johnson and the Bulldogs were in complete control after that. The Blue Bears struggled from the field in the final half, connecting on only nine-of-33 field goal attempts (27.3 percent).
