Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 HAMPTON, Va. - The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) in conjunction with the CIAA Women's Basketball Coaches Association and Sports Information Directors Association announced the selections for CIAA Basketball Player, Newcomer, Rookie and Coach of the Week on Tuesday morning. Bowie State University freshman Kyah Proctor (Capital Heights, Md.) earned CIAA Rookie of the Week. 

Making her season debut vs. Winston-Salem State (1/5/15), Proctor has stepped in nicely, making two starts out of three games played over the week. In those three games, Proctor averaged 13.3 ppg. and shot 93.3 percent (14-of-15) at the free throw line. Proctor's top game came against Shaw, finishing second in team scoring (16 points) to go along with three assists, one steal and knocked down 7-of-8 free throws.

The Lady Bulldogs' record stands at 7-8 overall and 2-4 in league play. Bowie State University returns to action on Saturday (January 17th) hosting The Lincoln University University at 1 pm in the first CIAA Northern Division game of the season for the Lady Bulldogs and Lady Lions.
