Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 HAMPTON, Va.- The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) in conjunction with the CIAA Men's Basketball Coaches Association and Sports Information Directors Association announced the selections for CIAA Men's Basketball Player, Newcomer, Rookie and Coach of the Week on Tuesday morning. Bowie State University senior Cameron Knox (Baltimore, Md.) earned CIAA Player of the Week and head coach Darrell Brooks was voted CIAA Coach of the Week for the third time this season.

In Bowie State's perfect 2-0 week (1/12-17),,Knox averaged 20.0 per game in wins over Fayetteville State (on the road) and Lincoln (at home). Additionally, Knox shot 83.3 percent from the free throw line (10-of-12)., He continues to lead the Bulldogs in scoring.

Brooks and the #4 regionally ranked Bulldogs captured a 74-66 road win at Fayetteville State and slipped by Lincoln at home by a score of 66-65 before a national television audience. With those wins, division leading Bowie State holds a 6-1 conference record.

Bowie State will take their 14-5 overall record and 1-0 CIAA Northern Division mark into Wednesday's (1/21) home game against Virginia Union University. Tip-off between the Panthers and Bulldogs is 7:30 pm.
