Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 HAMPTON, Va. - The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) in conjunction with the CIAA Women's Basketball Coaches Association and Sports Information Directors Association announced the selections for CIAA Basketball Player, Newcomer, Rookie and Coach of the Week on Tuesday morning. Bowie State University freshman Kyah Proctor (Capital Heights, Md.) earned CIAA Rookie of the Week for the second consecutive week.

Proctor's best game of the week came at Fayetteville State as she scored 14 points on 5-of-9 shooting which included 3-of-5 behind the 3-point line and averaged 11.0 points per game and 3.5 rebounds. In Saturday's (1/17) home contest against Lincoln, Proctor tallied eight points, five rebounds, two assists and one steal in 35 minutes.

Bowie State's Lady Bulldogs return to action on Wednesday (1/21) evening hosting the Lady Panthers of Virginia Union University at 5:30 pm.
