Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 HAMPTON, Va.- The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) in conjunction with the CIAA Men's Basketball Coaches Association and Sports Information Directors Association announced the selections for CIAA Men's Basketball Player, Newcomer, Rookie and Coach of the Week on Tuesday morning.  Bowie State University senior Cameron Knox (Baltimore, Md.) earned CIAA Player of the Week and head coach Darrell Brooks was voted CIAA Coach of the Week, both for the second time. 

In two conference wins during the week (1/1-3), Knox scored a career-high 31 points against Livingstone (1/1/15) and dropped 22 points against Johnson C. Smith (1/3/15). For the week, Knox averaged 26.5 ppg and shot 90 percent from the free throw line (20-of-22) while averaging 3.5 rpg and 3.0 assists.

Brooks and the Bulldogs, currently ranked #4 in the NCAA Atlantic Region, recorded a 2-0 record for the week, starting the New Year with home wins over Livingstone (84-83) and Johnson C. Smith (85-80). The win over Livingstone earned Brooks his 100th career victory.

The Bulldogs' record stands at 11-4 overall are 3-0 in league play.  Bowie State University returns to action on Thursday (January 8th) on the road at St. Augustine's University for a CIAA crossover doubleheader with the Lady Bulldogs.
