Kayla Bridgett (Upper Marlboro, Md.) was shutout 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 Singles.
Elizabeth City State's Ma-tewah Tamba topped Bowie State sophomore
Jatiya Stewart (Lanham, Md.) 6-1 and 7-6 at No. 4 Singles. ECSU claimed the win at No. 5 Singles as Sanda Oo defeated BSU senior
Kamari Eason (Oxon Hill, Md.) in straight sets 6-4, 6-0. Bulldogs' junior
Bianca Tucker (Edgewood, Md.) fell 6-0 and 6-0 in her No. 6 Singles match to D'Kota Hinton-Louis.
The Elizabeth City State Lady Vikings swept Bowie State in all three doubles matches, winning 8-4 at No. 1, 8-5 at No. 2 and 8-7 at No. 3 doubles.
Bowie State (0-2) will return to the courts Saturday (March 14) in a road match at Virginia Union. The match will take place at Battery Park with first serve set for 1 p.m.
