BOWIE, Md. – The Bowie State men's basketball team will look to snap a three-game losing skid as the Bulldogs take on Bloomfield College tonight at 8 p.m. in Bloomfield, NJ for a non-conference matchup.

The Series:
Bowie State and Bloomfield have met three times since 2017. The Bulldogs are 1-2 against the Bears but was able to take a 97-93 win over BC during the last meeting on Dec. 30, 2021 in Bowie, Md.
Scouting the Bears:
The Bears are 2-2 entering Monday night's game, coming off a 76-69 road victory at the University of the District of Columbia (UDC) on Saturday – a team Bowie State will also face on Wednesday (Nov. 23). Bloomfield held a big lead at halftime (40-26) and never looked back. Four players scored in double figures led by Andres Fulgencio who led the winning effort with 16 points and 12 rebounds.
Bloomfield averages 75.5 points, shooting 43-percent from the field. The Bears are nearly at 40-percent from the 3-point line and a 65-percent shooting team from the charity stripe. Bloomfield College is a member of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC).
The Bulldogs:
It's been 10 days since the Bulldogs earned its first win of the 2022-23 season, Bowie State has since dropped three straight entering Monday night's game. Coming off a 70-66 setback to Felician, another CACC membered institution – the Bulldogs fell to the Golden Falcons in the Harlem Renaissance Classic on Saturday.
Caleb Johnson led the way with 19 points and six rebounds – he made eight of his 12 shots against FC while three other players also finished in double digit scoring for Bowie State.
Collectively as a team, BSU is putting up 78.8 points per game while allowing its opponents to score 83.8 points a night. The Bulldogs are a 47-percent shooting team in field goals, including 71-percent from the free throw line and 32-percent from deep.

Bowie State will return home to host UDC on Nov. 23 at 7:30 p.m. That game is one of two games on the night, the women's team will also play UDC at 5:30 p.m.
