BOWIE, Md. - Junior Mark Bradshaw (West Chester, PA) scored 24 points, but the Bowie State men's basketball team fell to the Wilmington Wildcats, 66-60 at home Saturday afternoon inside A.C. Jordan Arena.
Bradshaw led the Bulldogs (2-9) with 24 points and six rebounds. Junior Anthony Carpenter (Reisterstown, MD) also added six points, eight rebounds and two steals and junior Joel Webb (Forestville, MD) helped out with seven points.

How It Happened
The Bulldogs took an early 2-0 lead on a dunk from sophomore Elijah Rantin (Baltimore, MD) but that would be the last time Bowie State owned a lead in the first half as BSU shot just 33.3-percent from the field, including 0-for-7 from the 3-point line, trailing 35-24 to the Wildcats at halftime.
Bowie State came out of halftime clicking on all cylinders, going on a 6-0 run, finished off by Bradshaw's layup, to shrink the deficit to 35-30 with 18:16 to go in the contest. However, Wilmington would respond and outscore the Bulldogs the rest of the way, ending the game with a final score of 66-60. Bowie State made the most of eight offensive rebounds to tack on six second chance points out of 36 total in the period.
