The last time Bowie State and Livingstone met one another was on Dec. 14, 2021 in Bowie, Md. The Bulldogs edged the Golden Bulls, 49-48 in A.C. Jordan Arena. The Bulldogs shot 41-percent from the field, including 7-of-14 free throws while the Golden Bulls were 37-percent from the floor, hitting 3-of-8 freebies. Johnson C. Smith is 4-4 overall and 2-0 at home. Saturday's game will be the conference opener for JCSU who last competed on Dec. 10, falling 107-52 to Appalachian State on the road. Shaniya Jones is the team's leading scorer, averaging 21.3 points per game while India Howard has a team-high average of 12.1 rebounds per outing.
