Bowie State sent the seniors off in style taking an 84-57 win against Shaw at home Saturday afternoon inside A.C. Jordan Arena. The Bulldogs had their best shooting performance and all-around of game of the season by shooting 46-percent from the field and 46-percent behind the arc, scoring a season-high of 20 made 3-pointers. Drew Calhoun (New Carrollton, MD) led the team offensively with a career-night of 27 points, six rebounds, and three assists while freshman
Andria Gadson (Bowie, MD) had a career-night as well with 15 points, six assists and five rebounds aided by senior
Talanya Hutton (Seat Pleasant, MD) who put up 13 points, four rebounds and two assists. The victory marked the fourth straight at home win for BSU.
Scouting Virginia State
Virginia State is coming off their second straight loss 55-53 against Elizabeth City State on Saturday afternoon. The Lady Vikings were led by Shayla Sweeney and Kaaliya Williams with 15 points and six rebounds apiece.
VSU averages 60.8 points per game and is currently last in Northern Division. Natalia Leaks ranks second in the CIAA in scoring with 14.7 points per game.

Wednesday's game marks the second meeting between Bowie State and Virginia State this season. Last time out, the Bulldogs took the 63-57 overtime win inside A.C. Jordan Arena on Jan. 27
