BALTIMORE, Md. –  The No. 3 seeded Bowie State women's basketball team will begin play in the 2022 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Men's and Women's Tournament Quarterfinals Thursday, Feb. 24 as the Bulldogs take on the Trojans of Virginia State at 2 p.m.

The winner will advance to the semifinals on Friday, Feb. 25 against the winner of either Claflin and Elizabeth City State at 12 noon.

The game will broadcast live on ESPN+. Radio coverage will be provided by Heritage Sports Radio (HSRN) and can be found HERE.

Bowie State and Virginia State met twice during the regular season with the Bulldogs sweeping the season series. In the fact, the win marked the fifth straight for BSU over VSU. The Bulldogs earned a 63-57 victory during the first meeting on Jan. 27 in A.C. Jordan Arena, followed by a 65-64 overtime thriller on Feb. 16 in Ettrick, Va.
