About Bowie State
The Bulldogs hope to end the 2023 slate on a positive after falling twice during the Lynn Holiday Classic in Boca Raton, Fla. on Dec. 18-19. BSU had dropped a 83-67 to Palm Beach Atlantic and a 53-49 decision to Lynn before the holiday break. In both contests, Anii Harris led the Bulldogs in scoring with 31 points (career-high) against PBA and 17 against the Knights. Harris leads the team in scoring with 20.4 points, respectively.

Bowie State is 8-5 overall and 4-2 on the road this season. Against non-conference opponents, BSU stands 5-4.

About Frostburg State
Frostburg State welcomes Bowie State with a 7-4 overall record, having not competed since Dec. 15 when the Bobcats hosted UDC for a 72-56 win at home. The win handed (at the time) the Firebirds first loss of the season as they were ranked No. 25. The scoring wealth was shared in the contest, as at least six players scored more than five points. Jenna Muha and  Ciara Thomas both ended with 14 points, the latter scoring her season-high, while Maggie Sharp and Grace Middleton each contributed nine. FSU is 1-2 against non-conference opponents this season.

Looking Ahead
Bowie State will resume CIAA play beginning Jan. 4 at Fayetteville State, St. Augustine's (Jan. 6) and Shaw (Jan. 13) with all games on the road.
