BOWIE, MD—The Bowie State men's basketball team aims their sights on non-conference opponent Frostburg State University on Tuesday, November 19, inside of A.C. Jordan Arena. This will be the nightcap game of a doubleheader featuring the women's game beginning at 5:30 p.m.

The Series
• The Bulldogs are on a two-game winning streak against the Bobcats entering Tuesday's matchup.
• In their last meeting, Bowie State defeated Frostburg State 80-70 in Frostburg, Md.
• This will be the Bulldogs' second time hosting the Bobcats.
Scouting Bowie State
Bowie State (2-2) is currently fourth in the Central Intercollegiate Athletics Association (CIAA) conference in points per game, averaging 83.0 throughout the first four games. Wimbush leads BSU in scoring and rebounds, averaging 18.2 ppg and 5.3 rebounds per game.
Elijah Davis leads the Bulldogs in assists per game, averaging 4.5 on the season. Wimbush and Davis are two of the conference's top defenders, averaging four and three steals, respectively.
Last Time Out for the Bulldogs
The Bulldogs dropped their previous matchup against the Golden Falcons of Felician University, 88-82, inside of A. Reigning CIAA Rookie of the Year,
Kevon Corley led the charge for BSU, scoring 20 points. Four other Bulldogs scored in double figures, with
Warren Mouganda and
Justin Morrisey scoring 13 a piece. Davis operated the offense, tallying 11 points and six assists, while
Dylan Edwards pitched in with 11 points. Bowie State received a boost from its bench with 22 points from non-starters.
Scouting Frostburg State
Frostburg State (1-3) plays in the Mountain East Conference (MEC), where they were predicted to finish 10th. Through the first four games, the Bobcats' leading scorer is junior Jaden Baker, who averages 12.3 ppg and 4.2 rebounds. Tony Pope, the standout freshman, is a key contributor off the bench, averaging 9.3 ppg.
Last Time Out for the Bobcats
The Bobcats enter Tuesday's contest after falling to Clarion University 83-67 at home inside Bobcat Arena on Nov. 16th. Baker had an impressive outing, tallying 25 points while shooting 5-6 from the three-point line. Eric Sondberg was the only other FSU player that scored in double figures with 17 points. Bowie State will be the second HBCU program Frostburg State has faced and the only team from the CIAA.

Bowie State will travel across the Midwest to Colorado to face Colorado Mesa University and Fort Lewis College to continue their non-conference slate on Friday, Nov. 22 and 23, at 7:30 p.m. from Brownson Arena in Grand Junction, Co. This will be the first time the Bulldogs will face the two Colorado-based programs.
