Last Time Out for the Bulldogs
The Bulldogs were in complete control in the last matchup against Goldey-Beacom College, winning 72-59 inside of Joseph West Jones Center. Davis led the Bulldogs in the victory, scoring 16 points with six assists and three steals. Wimbush recorded a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds, while
Justin Morrisey scored 13 points, shooting 5-8 from the field. Bowie State dominated down low, scoring 42 points inside the paint while holding the Lightning to 24 points in the paint. The Bulldogs never surrendered the lead in the victory.
Scouting Livingstone
Livingstone (6-4, 0-3 CIAA) is currently on a four-game losing streak entering their matchup against Bowie State. The Blue Bears have one of the best offenses in the CIAA, averaging 84.7 ppg, which is second-best in the conference. LC is also the best team in the conference on defense, holding opponents to shooting 39.7 percent from the field while only giving up 71 ppg, which is fourth-best in the CIAA. Jamal Cannady Jr leads Livingstone in scoring, averaging 15.8 ppg while grabbing 3.1 rebounds per game. King Ijeoma averages 7.8 ppg, 6.8 rebounds, and two blocks a game in the middle for the Blue Bears.

The Blue Bears enter Thursday's matchup after falling to CIAA competitor Virginia Union, 69-53, Monday night inside New Trent Gym. Livingstone had two players score in double-figures, Cannady Jr with 11, three rebounds, and two steals, while Trey Minard also scored 11 points off the bench. LC received 21 points from the bench despite the loss.
