BOWIE, MD --- The Bowie State women's basketball team is set to host Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Northern Division action against the Lincoln (PA) University Lions on Saturday, Feb. 22 for Senior Day in its home finale for the 2024-25 season. The divisional matchup begins promptly at 2 p.m. inside the A.C. Jordan Arena.
The doubleheader will be streamed live on the Bulldog Sports Network.

Clear Bag Policy
Fans will only be able to carry the following style and size bag into the stadium, all of which are subject to search.
• Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12"
• One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
• Small clutch bags measuring 4.5" x 6.5" with or without a handle or strap
• All other bags will not be permitted. A list of prohibited bags includes but is not limited to purses, backpacks, drawstring bags that are not clear, briefcases, coolers, fanny packs, luggage, computer bags, camera bags, binocular cases, and diaper bags. Guests are encouraged to return unauthorized items to their vehicles. Bowie State University cannot safeguard items that are not permitted into the stadium.

The Series
• This will be the 26th time the two programs will meet since 2009.
• BSU is 5-7 at home and 4-6 in the last 10 matchups against the Lady Lions.
• In the last meeting, Bowie State defeated LUPA, 71-66 on the road inside the Bobby Morgan Arena in Philadelphia, Pa., on Jan.18.
Last Timeout for Bowie State
The Bulldogs (17-8, 11-4 CIAA, 6-3 North) lost its last outing against CIAA foe Virginia State University (20-5, 13-2 CIAA, 8-1 North) at home, 75-52 this past Tuesday inside A.C. Jordan Arena. BSU was led by Ryles who finished with 23 points and two steals while Sydney Anthony contributed with 11 points and three steals off the bench.
Despite the loss, Bowie State bench has stayed consistent scoring 20 points to help with the output. BSU shot 64.7 percent from the free throw line connecting on 22-34 attempts.
Relentless Consistency
Through 25 games, Ryles has led the team in scoring averaging 18.4 points per game, a conference-best 3.6 steals per outing, and 3.3 assists per game. Beulah Odiong is the team's leading rebounder, averaging 7.6 per outing. Odiong has recorded 190 rebounds on the season. Bowie State ranks third in team free throw percentage, shooting 68.9 percent from the line and in steals averaging 11.77 per game in the conference.
About Lincoln University
LUPA enters Saturday's matchup (10-16, 6-9 CIAA, 2-7 North) after defeating CIAA foe Bluefield State University, 68-66 at home this past Wednesday. The Lady Lions were led by Anyssa Fields who recorded a double-double 20 points and 13 rebounds, while Ciani Montgomery added 19 points, seven assists, and five rebounds. Lincoln shot 50.0 percent from beyond the arc and from the free throw line connecting on 9-18 attempts in the win.
Through 26 games, LUPA is averaging 62.7 points, 40.6 rebounds, 12.3 assists, and 10.6 steals per game. Montgomery leads the team in points averaging 13.2 points per outing and leads in assists averaging 2.8 per game. Maya Madison Walker leads the team in rebounds averaging 8.0 per outing, while Jaleesa Lanier owns with 2.5 steals per game. Lincoln (PA) ranks third in the conference in three-point field goal percentage, shooting 28.9 percent from beyond the arc, and in team offensive rebounds, averaging 14.8 rebounds per game, respectively.

The Bulldogs will await the official seeding for the 2025 CIAA Women's Basketball Tournament, this weekend.
