Delmar Carey

Delmar Carey makes the transition to coach after two seasons (2008-2010) as a Bowie State Bulldogs player and begins his fourth season. The Charlottesville, Virginia native played scholastically at Monticello High School and was named Jefferson District First Team and Team Most Valuable Player (2003) and was selected as the Paul Webb Basketball Camp Dunk Champion (2002-2003).

After a stint at Coastal Georgia Community College, Carey enrolled at Bowie State University and ended his collegiate career averaging 4.5 rebounds and 4.3 points per game.

Some of his hobbies include, listening to music and learning new hands-on things. He is the son of Mary and Delmar Carey, Sr. and the father of daughter Jordan.
