Karmin Powell officially joined the Bowie State Athletics Department as the Program Management Specialist January 2024.
Powell is no stranger to BSU Athletics, she currently will be entering her fifth season as an assistant coach for the Bulldogs softball program under the leadership of Ed Powell. In her role with the softball program, she handles all operations from team scheduling, travel, ordering and equipment.
Prior to joining Bowie State Athletics in a full-time capacity, Powell served as a security specialist for the Department of Labor in Washington, D.C. where she was responsible for addressing personal identity verification for credential processing.
