BOX SCORE

(ELIZABETH CITY, NC)  The Lady Vikings of Elizabeth City State University were a team on a mission and rolled over Bowie State University's Lady Bulldogs 3-0 in conference volleyball action.  Elizabeth City State won by scores of 25-17, 25-17 and 25-18 and improved their record to 13-6 overall and 8-0 in the CIAA.

Chelsea Amick and Eva Johnson paced the Lady Vikings with 17 and 11 kills respectively.  Samarri Griffin added eight kills of her own and Jennifer Hendy along with Stacie West added a half dozen kills each.  

Tamira Conner Rogers (Ft. Washington, MD, Oxon Hill) led Bowie State with 12 kills on the afternoon while teammates Alycia Williams-Chase (Baltimore, MD, Baltimore Polytechnic) accounted for nine kills and La Tesha Johnson (Arnold, MD, Antioch Christian School, Anne Arundel C.C.) contributed 12 digs for the Lady Bulldogs.

Bowie State (8-6, 5-3 CIAA) return to action - Tuesday, September 23rd at home against St. Augustine's College.  Match time in BSU's A.C. Jordan Arena is 6 p.m.
