BOX SCORE

(WEST CHESTER, Pa)  The Bowie State University Lady Bulldogs closed out the 2010 season with a 3-0 setback to host West Chester University.  The Golden Rams won sets by scores 25-10, 25-5 and 25-8.  The Bowie State loss wraps up the Lady Bulldogs season record at 4-27.

Sophomore Jasmine Nixon (Middletown, NY, Middletown) paced BSU with a team-high four kills and added six digs and two assists.  Freshman Brelyn Finley (District Heights, MD, Charles H. Flowers) contributed a pair of kills and fellow freshmen Tiffany White (Towson, MD, Digital Harbor) and Kassondra Greis (Mount Airy, MD, Linganore) recorded one kill each in the season finale.  

Helen Fitzpatrick recorded seven kills and 22 assists to lead West Chester.  She hit 7-for-9 in the three games as West Chester posted a whopping .569 hitting percentage against BSU's -0.54. Julie Boblits recorded six kills as well and  Dylan Keil led West Chester with six digs.
