(PIKE CREEK, Del.) Rebecca Stoffer had 13 kills, three service aces and two solo blocks to lead Goldey-Beacom College to a dominant 3-0 win over Bowie State University on Dig Pink Night at the Joseph West Jones Center.
Goldey-Beacom won the match in straight sets: 25-16, 25-15, 25-11 and improved to 7-15 on the season. Bowie State fell to 4-22 with the loss.
Goldey-Beacom outhit the Bulldogs .211 to -.11 for the night, led by Stoffer's astounding .650 hitting percentage as a result of a season-high 13 kills with zero errors. Roni Shaner and Monica Dempsey combined for 11 kills, 24 assists and 15 digs for the night. Tyla Wells pitched in with four kills as well.
Freshman
Brelyn Finley (District Heights, MD, Charles H. Flowers) paced the BSU Lady Bulldogs with a team-high five kills on eights attacks. Sophomore

JaTyra Heath (Federalsburg, MD, Colonel Richardson, Chowan Univ.) along with freshman
Kyerra Martin (Capital Heights, MD, Forestville Military Academy) contributed a pair of kills each.
