(WEST CHESTER, Pa.)  Playing the first of a Saturday tri-match, the Bowie State University Lady Bulldogs were defeated by East Stroudsburg by scores 25-8, 25-6 and 25-8.

The Bowie State freshmen trio of Brelyn Finley (District Heights, MD, Charles H. Flowers), Tiffany White (Towson, MD, Digital Harbor) and Kassondra Greis (Mount Airy, MD, Linganore) were the Lady Bulldogs' leaders with a pair of kills each. 

Greis also led Bowie State with team-highs of of 12 attacks and nine digs.

Kristina Perri and Kaitlin Behrens combined for 20 kills and a .548 hitting percentage to lead East Stroudsburg University in the shutout.

Allye Preziosi had 32 kills against Bowie State. Jennifer Forbes had five kills and Ashley Lesniak and Detter both had four kills. Katie O'Neill had a team-high nine digs. 

The setback puts Bowie State's oveall record at 4-26.
