(BOWIE, Md.) Complete domination was the name of the game tonight, as Bowie State cruises to an easy 3-0 sweep of Cheyney University. BSU's Lady Bulldogs won by sets of 25-9, 25-16 and 25-9 to win their second straight match.

Cheyney had no answer for Bowie State's aggressiveness and ended the 58 minute match with a negative attack percentage (-.188). Bowie State on the other hand wrapped up the night with a .277 attack percentage.

Freshman Kassondra Greis (Mount Airy, MD, Linganore) led Bowie State with 13 service aces and added 11 assists, four digs and one block assists. Sophomore Jasmine Nixon (Middletown, NY, Middletown) and freshman Tiffany White (Towson, MD, Digital Harbor) recorded seven kills each in the victory.

Cheyney (0-1) was led by Jamie Archibald with four kills to go along with one service ace and three digs.

Bowie State (2-4) will return to action – Saturday, September 11th versus St. Augustine's College at 12 noon in the opening round of the CIAA Round-Up hosted by Winston-Salem (N.C.) State University.
