(RICHMOND, Va.) The Lady Panthers of Virginia Union University made it a clean season sweep, defeating Bowie State University 25-12, 25-19 and 25-11 in CIAA volleyball action. The setback dips the BSU Lady Bulldogs record to 7-16 overall, 2-10 in the CIAA and 1-6 in the Northern Division.

Paige McIntosh recorded a team-high 14 assists and fellow freshman
Remi Anderson picked up a team-high 12 digs.
Virginia Union (6-15, 6-6 CIAA) was led by Victoria Parks with a match-high 12 kills and teammate Demi Schrader had 26 assists. Aisha Berkley and Kristin Madison also had a good afternoon for the Lady Panthers, knocking down eight kills apiece.
Bowie State returns home to host Wilmington (Del.) University - Thursday (October 13) at 7 pm in BSU's A.C. Jordan Arena.
