(CHEYNEY, Pa.)  Bowie State University won their third match in a row, silencing the Lady Wolves of Cheyney University by scores of 25-12, 25-19 and 25-16 in non-conference volleyball action.

The Bowie State defense held Cheyney to a negative .163 attack percentage.  Leading the way for Bowie State was freshman Cara Nance and junior Jasmine Nixon with eight and seven kills respectively.  Nance and Nixon combined for 11 digs while freshman Paige McIntosh led Bowie State in digs with seven. Sophomore Brianna Flowers paced the Lady Bulldogs with nine assists and added two service aces and four digs.

Denise Hill led Cheyney with five kills on 22 attacks to go along with four assists, one service ace, one dig and two block assists.  Nichel Bryant added a match-high 13 digs for the Lady Wolves.
