VOLLEYBALL FALLS 3-0 IN EXCITING VOLLEYBALL MATCH AGAINST ELIZABETH CITY STATE

Box Score BOWIE, Md.  — The Bowie State University volleyball team lost a thrilling, 3-0, CIAA Northern Division match to Elizabeth City State with scores of 29-27, 25-13 and 25-14 at A.C. Jordan Arena.

Freshman Yaje Ngundam led the way for Bowie State (0-7 overall, 0-2 CIAA North, 0-2 CIAA) with eight kills, while junior Kasi Eisenzimmer added six kills, 11 assists, three service aces and five digs. Sophomore Paige McIntosh paced the Lady Bulldogs defensively with eight digs, while redshirt freshman Marissa Martinez finished with seven digs. Eisenzimmer and Ngumdum played well defensively recording five digs apiece.

Elizabeth City State (3-3 overall, 2-0 CIAA North, 2-0 CIAA) was led by Morghan Stallings with a game-highs of 10 kills and 14 digs. Kelsey Smith added nine digs for the Lady Vikings and Danielle Kiser contributed a match-high 25 digs

Bowie State returns to action on Tuesday (September 11th) as the Lady Bulldogs play host to the University of the District of Columbia. First serve for the Firebirds and Lady Bulldogs will be at 6 pm.
