VOLLEYBALL STRUGGLES CONTINUE AFTER 3-0 LOSE TO GOLDEY-BEACOM

Box Score BOWIE, Md. -- The Bowie State University Lady Bulldogs volleyball teram continues to struggle after falling in three sets to Goldey-Beacom College by scores of 12-25, 16-25 and 8-25. The setback sets the Bowie State record at 0-9 overall while Goldey-Beacom improves to 4-3. Junior Brelyn Finley and sophomore Paige McIntosh paced the Lady Bulldogs with eight and four kills respectively.

Taylor Moyer tallied a match-high nine kills and hit .643  to lead the Lightning of Goldey-Beacom College.  The Lightning hit .313 as a team with just 10 attack errors. In the first set, they recorded a .360 hitting percentage while making just two errors in 25 attempts.

Monica Dempsey contributed seven kills with 15 assists and four digs. Mackenzie Wilson added a match-high eight digs for the Lightning in the victory.

Bowie State University returns to action Saturday (9/15) on day one of the CIAA Round-Up against Saint Augustine's University.
