Briana Flowers paced Bowie State with 12 kills and fellow junior
Kasi Eisenzimmer added a match-high 28 assists and 17 digs. However, it was not enough, as a determined Lincoln University of Pennsylvania volleyball team, battled all night and defeated the Lady Bulldogs in a five-set thriller, 3-2 on Monday night.
The Lady Lions (1-7 overall, 1-6 CIAA, 1-3 CIAA North) dropped the first set, 25-22, but never let the lead slip away in the next two sets with 25-20 victories. The Lady Bulldogs (1-12, 1-5, 0-3) rallied in the fourth set to get a 25-22 win, forcing a fifth set. Lincoln broke open a close fifth set and didn't look back in a 15-12 victory.

Remi Anderson had 24 and 16 digs, while sophomore
Paige McIntosh finished with 14 digs. Bowie State
Yaje Ngundam chipped in with 11 digs.
Jasmine Graves and Sharay DuBose combined for 28 kills to lead Lincoln University of Pennsylvania. Graves finished with 18 kills and had a .295 hitting percentage, while DuBose chipped in with 10 kills and had a .292 hitting percentage. Briana McKellery recorded nine assists and 11 digs. Five players reach double figures in digs as Erika Bell led the way for the Lady Lions with a match-high 31.
Bowie State will step out of CIAA play for its next match, hosting the Cheyney University of Pennsylvania Lady Wolves in a non-conference doubleheader contest. Match one in BSU's A.C. Jordan Arena will begin at 6 pm with the first serve of match two set to get underway at 8 pm.
