Box Score RICHMOND, Va. - Virginia Union University (7-10, 7-7 CIAA) captured a three-set sweep of Bowie State University, beating the Lady Bulldogs 25-22, 25-15 and 25-13. The loss drops BSU's record to 2-24 overall and 1-14 in the CIAA.

Freshman Amy Harvey (Laurel, Md.) and sophomore Yaje Ngundam (Bowie, Md.) paced the Lady Bulldogs with four and three kills respectively on 30 combined attacks. Freshman Regan Taylor (Suffolk, Va.) tallied two kills in the setback and five other Bowie State players accounted for one kill each.

Harvey led Bowie State with six assists and sophomore Marissa Martinez (Albuquerque, N.M.) was credited with a team-high seven digs.

Leading the Virginia Union attack was Kristin Madison with 10 kills to go along with three service aces, four digs and one assists. Esha Atkins was responsible for 33 of the Lady Panthers 36 total assists in the victory.

The Lady Bulldogs close out the season on Thursday (October 31st) with a road match at Lincoln University at 6 pm.
