Bowie State Volleyball Drops 4-1 Season Finale to Lincoln

Box Score LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. – Cynthia Johnson had a match-high nine kills to go along with nine digs to lead Lincoln University past Bowie State University in four sets (25-20,17-25,25-12 and 25-13) Thursday night at the Manuel Rivero Hall.

Lincoln moves their record to 3-15 overall, 3-13 in the CIAA and 2-8 in the Northern Division. The Lady Bulldogs close out the season with an overall mark of 2-24, 1-15 in the CIAA and 0-10 in the division.

Sophomore Yaje Ngundam (Bowie, Md.) and freshman India Mason (Greenbelt, Md.) tallied six kills each for the Lady Bulldogs while senior Brelyn Finley (District Heights, Md.) and freshman Regan Taylor (Suffolk, Va.) added four kills apiece. Ngundam paced the Lady Bulldogs with 11 digs and senior Marissa Martinez (Albuquerque, N.M.) contributed 10 digs.

Senior Brianna Flowers (Millersville, Md.) contributed three kills in her final Bowie State match and added a team-high 15 assists.

Lincoln's Briana McKellery knocked down seven kills and led the Lady Lions at the net with three solo blocks. Sydney Cook and Kyra Orton picked up double-digit digs with 19 and 13 respectively.
