BOWIE, Md. - Assistant Athletic Trainer Regina Parquet departs Bowie State Athletics to pursue masters degree at California University of Pennsylvania in Athletic Training.

Parquet is a board certified Athletic Trainer raised in Prince George's County (MD). In 2005, she graduated with a citation in honors from Prince George's Community College where she obtained an Associate's Degree with a concentration in Pre-Physical Therapy. While at PGCC, she was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa: International Honors Fraternity of Two Year Colleges.
In 2008, Regina graduated Magna Cum Laude from Frostburg State University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Athletic Training. Following graduation, she spent a year working at a local Physical Therapy Clinic as an Aid. Her Athletic Training experience includes one season spent volunteering with the Upper Marlboro Nakotas semi-pro Football team. She also worked with a number of teams at the University of Maryland in College Park.
Parquet is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, the Maryland Athletic Trainers Association and she has a certification in first aid and CPR for the professional rescuer. She spends her free time singing and volunteering with youth at church. She also spends summers working with local youth sports camps.
