CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) announced its Fall 2025 Commissioner's Honor Roll this past Monday, with Bowie State University placing 149 student-athletes on the list.
Football led all Bowie State programs with 51 honorees, followed by men's and women's track and field with a combined 29 selections. Softball added 16 student-athletes, while volleyball contributed 15.
Men's and women's cross country combined for 12 honorees, followed by women's basketball with 11 and men's basketball with eight. Women's bowling and golf each had four student-athletes recognized.
"The CIAA continues to celebrate the academic dedication of our student-athletes who excel both in competition and in the classroom," said Commissioner Jacqie McWilliams Parker. "Being named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll reflects the discipline, commitment, and focus required to succeed at a high level while representing their institutions and the CIAA."
The Commissioner's Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes across the CIAA who have demonstrated excellence in the classroom during the fall semester.
