LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. – Competing in their first conference match of the season, the Lady Bulldogs volleyball lost in straight sets to Johnson C. Smith by scores of 14-25, 18-25 and 9-25.

Senior Brelyn Finley (District Heights, Md.) paced Bowie State with six kills to go along with one service ace, one dig and one solo block. Sophomore Alexis Fisher and senior Symone' Jordan accounted for three kills each. Senior Briana Flowers was credited with three assists and four service aces.

Breneshia Green, Jane Tukia, Kayla Bazemore and Gracyn Doctor led the JCSU Lady Golden Bulls with four kills each. Bazemore also served up a match-high seven aces in the victory.
