Box Score LINCOLN, Pa. – The Bowie State Lady Bulldogs (1-7, 0-3 CIAA) lost a tough four-set match to the Lady Blue Bears of Livingstone College, Sunday morning.

The Lady Bulldogs captured a 25-23 decision in set one. However, Livingstone took set two by a score of 25-17. Sets three and four were true battles, but Bowie State came up on the sort end falling by scores of 22-25 and 22-25.

Bowie State sophomore outside hitter Yaje Ngumdam (Bowie, Md.) led the way with 14 kills and added 11 digs for a double-double effort in the match while fellow senior middle hitter Brelyn Finley (District Heights, Md.) added five kills of her own. Senior setter Briana Flowers (Millersville, Md.) contributed a match-high 15 assists and sophomore libero Marissa Martinez (Albuquerque, N.M.) setup her teammates seven times.
