Late Game Dry Spell Sends Lady Bulldogs to 58-51 Loss to Chowan Hawks

Box Score BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie State University Lady Bulldogs failed to score a single field goal in the 5:50 of the game and lost 58-51 to the Chowan University Hawks on Saturday afternoon.  The loss dips Bowie State's league record to 2-7, 1-2 in the division's Northern Division and 7-10 overall. The Hawks improve to 9-9 overall and 3-5 in the league and 1-1 against CIAA competition after the win.

Bowie State will take time to begin semester classes before returning to the hardwood on Wednesday (January 29th) and nationally ranked Virginia State University. Game time between the Lady Bulldogs and Lady Trojans is 5:30 pm in VSU's Daniel Gymnasium.
