Box Score ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. - The Elizabeth City State University Lady Vikings picked up another Northern Division win after a three-set sweep of Bowie State University on Monday night at the R.L. Vaughan Center, winning by scores of 25-11, 25-16 and 25-15.
It took the Lady Viking less than an hour (52 minutes) to dispose of Bowie State, who falls to 5-19 overall on the year, 3-11 in the CIAA. Kelsey Smith led the charge for Elizabeth City State with a match-high 11 kills and three solo blocks.
Bowie State's offense was held to 16 kills for the match and none of the Lady Bulldogs posted more than five kills individually. Freshman
Valerie Taylor (Walkersville, Md.) along with sophomore
India Mason (New Orleans, La.) tallied five kills each while juniors
Yaje Ngundam (Bowie, Md.) and
Alexis Fisher (Chesapeake Beach, Md.) added a pair of kills apiece.

Amy Harvey (Laurel, Md.) paced the Lady Bulldogs with 13 assists and redshirt junior
Marissa Martinez (Albuquerque, N.M.) posted a match-high 13 digs in the loss.
ECSU doubled their opponents' output with 32 kills as a team and racked up 10 service aces including four courtesy of Krystal Sawyer. Rosetta Becerra just missed double-digit kills, recorded nine against zero hitting errors.
The Lady Bulldogs will take a break to enjoy Homecoming festivities before returning to action on Tuesday (October 21
st) hosting Cheyney University of Pennsylvania. This 7 pm non-conference match has been designated as Play for Kay Night and will also be Senior Night.
