Box Score CHARLOTTE, N.C.  – Bowie State University graduate student Matthew Goggans (Pine Grove, Calif.) and redshirt junior Jordan Garrison (Baltimore, Md.) were named the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Quarterback and Receiver of the Week respectively for their performances on Saturday (9/12) at Brevard College.
 
Goggans, the CIAA Quarterback of the Week last week as well, led the Bulldogs with a game-high and season-best 352 passing yards, completing 19-of-33 passes (one interception) and four touchdowns.
 
Garrison had a career afternoon for Bowie State, leading all receivers with 157 yards on four receptions and scored three touchdowns. His longest catch of the day was a 64-yard TD pass in the first quarter versus Brevard.
 
Bowie State will return to the gridiron on Saturday, September 19th making its third road trip of the season in as many week, traveling to Division I-FCS Central Connecticut State University. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m.
