BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie State University volleyball team struggled in hitting only -.022 and fell to conference and division foe Lincoln (Pa.) University 3-0 (25-15, 25-17, 25-14) on Thursday night in the A.C. Jordan Arena.
The Lady Bulldogs managed only 21 kills in the match, with freshman
Brianna Myers (Jessup, Md.) and junior
Tia Williams (Abingdon, Md.) leading the way with a team-high seven. Senior
Breiona Garrison (Baltimore, Md.) also aided in the Bowie State effort, finishing with four kills.

Kelisha Perry (Baltimore, Md.) recorded double-digit digs adding 14 each respectively in the loss. Senior
Amy Harvey (Laurel, Md.) had a productive evening, tallying 14 assists and 10 digs.
The Lincoln (Pa.) Lady Lions (4-12, 3-7 CIAA, 2-2 North) got eight kills from Mariah Russell while Shanna King chipped in seven kills and a match-high 17 assists in the win. Russell picked up 11 digs and Tierra Russaw was responsible for 10 digs.
With the loss, Bowie State drops to 3-12 overall, 1-9 in CIAA play and 1-3 in Northern Division play. The Lady Bulldogs will hit the road on Monday, Oct. 10 for a 6:00 p.m. match at Virginia Union University.
