Kiana Moore (Newark, Del.) collected a team-best seven kills and freshman
Sydney Tucker (Columbia, Md.) contributed six kills to go along with three service aces, a pair of digs and a solo block for Bowie State University in a 3-0 (20-25, 19-25, 20-25) CIAA volleyball loss to Virginia Union University at Barco-Stevens Hall on Monday evening.
Senior
Tia Williams (Abingdon, Md.) added five kills and three digs for the Bulldogs, who fell to 1-8 in the Northern Division, 1-14 in league play and 4-22 overall. Freshman
Bianca Tucker (Edgewood, Md.) dished out a team-high 10 assists and added three digs in the setback.
Jayshil Oatley had 10 kills while Kamryn Young, Mumbi, Murugi-Kamau and Ambryanna Moore added six kills for the Lady Panthers, who improved to 5-3 within the division, 7-7 in CIAA play and 13-9 overall. A'rmaria Wright and Minne Masoe finished with 17 and 10 assists respectively.
The Bulldog will play their final non-conference match at Washington Adventist University on Tuesday, October 31st before closing out the season on Thursday, November 9th, hosting Lincoln (Pa.) University at 6 p.m.
