The Golden Girls and Gents of Bowie State University spread their love and compassion for our community by honoring the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service.  On January 18th, we provided much needed shower shoes/flip flops and a dinner to the families of Shepard Cove Women's Shelter in Capitol Heights, MD, a property of United Communities Against Poverty, Inc. (UCAP).  Through UCAP's constant structured programming, the residents (including individuals and families) of Prince George's County are able to acquire stabilization and become self-sufficient member of the greater community.
