BOWIE, Md. – The Bowie State men's basketball team will host Indiana (PA) Friday, Nov. 19 in its home opener on Friday evening. Tip is set for 6 p.m. from A.C. Jordan Arena.

All interested media in covering a Bowie State men's and women's basketball contest will need to request credentials two days prior to the event. Credentials will not be granted the day of the game.

Admission is free to the public. However, Bowie State Athletics is requiring all fans and spectators to show proof of vaccination and proper identification prior to entering the arena. Additionally, all fans are required to wear face coverings (masks or neck gaiters) at all times unless eating or drinking while in A.C. Jordan Arena.

Friday's meeting will be the ninth meeting between Bowie State and Indiana (PA) since 2010. The Bulldogs are 2-6 against the Crimson Hawks with the last meeting occurring on Nov. 14, 2018 and IUP taking a 78-65 win over BSU in Memorial Field House.

Bowie State is 0-2 on the young season, coming off an 81-88 overtime loss to Shepherd at the Dave Russell Conference Challenge hosted by the Rams last weekend. Junior Quinton Drayton () paced the Bulldogs over the weekend, averaging 13.0 points and seven rebounds per game while sophomore Ayan Teel (Bowie, MD) posted 11.0 points and 4.5 assists through two games.

IUP (3-0) went 28-2 overall and 20-2 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC), becoming the regular season champions and tournament champions in 2019-20. The Crimson Hawks were picked to win the PSAC Western Division for the sixth straight time this season. IUP returned three starters from that squad including Armoni foster who averages a team's third best at 16.3 points through three games thus far. Shawndale Jones and Ethan average 22 and 19 points, respectively.
