Justin Route (Washington, DC) posted 16 points on 7-of-10 shooting and three rebounds while junior
Quinton Drayton (Bowie, MD) finished with 15 points and four rebounds.
Bowie State held a 25-24 lead at halftime but the Trojans used a 13-7 run to steal the lead in the second. After seven ties, VSU scored eight unanswered points with 30 seconds remaining to come away with the win over BSU.
Scouting Elizabeth City State
The Vikings are coming off a 78-77 overtime victory against Virginia Union Thursday night ending a three-game losing streak. Three players scored in double figures led by Jayden Beloti scoring 19-points. The Vikings are currently fifth in the division averaging 66.8 points per game and third in the CIAA for defense. Zaccheus Hobbs is the team's leader at 16.2 points per game.
